It's funny how THE PARAMOUNT THEATER has always been a much-needed refuge during times of trouble....During the Depression, viewers were swept away by the sunny-natured Shirley Temple, making them forget about their troubles for a while. It was farewell to all the worries and cares of the day. When the PARAMOUNT THEATER opened its doors, we forgot about names like Hitler and Mussolini. It was time instead to unwind and dream a little. The PARAMOUNT introduced new young singers like Frank Sinatra, and showed films with big stars like Clark Gable and Betty Hutton. These were the times that tried men's souls, but the glitz and glamour of Hollywood kept us distracted and entertained. We retained our perspective, and most crucially, allowed ourselves to hold on, to our national sense of humor.

Yet, when disaster struck, they where the first movie theater that shut their doors and displayed a message that read "This is just intermission, we'll see you soon" pictured on the marquee of Paramount Theater during the outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Seattle, Washington, U.S. March 20, 2020. It was a message of temporary abandonment in tough times yet hope of a return.

Furthermore, this made me wonder if a moviegoer has ever looked up at the tiny window at the back of the movie theater and wondered who's up there and if they are looking over us, or is they have abandoned their post to leave the projector running and us to experience the movie by ourselves? As someone's presence (whether they're a big name or nobody) is a gift.

Then, followed the flickering light to the window to find out. Well, now you are about to find out through this journal that I've started. In a film projection room that is lighted only by a single a fluorescent tube overhead muddled workstation. It is so dark I couldn't see anything. All I could see is the films cases, sprawled out filmstrips and a journal that sits in front of me. Suddenly I realized that I'd always depended on the security of the things of this world for peace and comfort. Knowing what I did about faith, I knew that was dangerous and it wasn't until after I had jumped out of the 'Lincoln' movie that I made a quality decision at that moment never to walk by sight except by faith. I would not be swayed by the things of this world, that I might not ever short-circuit a miracle by trying to see it in the process!

So many people do that… sorry for taking you down a rabbit hole as I tend to do that… Now, where was I…

Oh, yes, it was the night I jumped into the 'Lincoln' movie in the scene where U.S. President Abraham Lincoln was shot at the Ford's Theater in 1865, yet intuitive curiosity to see what what was in his pockets… not to pickpocket him or anything but for inspiration, as strange as that might sound. And do you want to know what was in his pockets? Lincoln's pockets contained the following: two spectacles, a lens polisher, a pocket knife, a watch fob, a handkerchief, a leather wallet containing a five-dollar Confederate bill, and eight newspaper clippings, including several that praised him and his policies. This made me wonder what the Confederate money was doing in the President's pockets, but I have little doubt about the glowing news stories.

Anyways, encouragement was what I got instead. Which made me think of how every one requires encouragement, even the best leader the world has ever seen like Lincoln! In fact, we're at our best when we encourage others with our words, with our actions, with our presence.

And so, this experience has left me yearning to be the letter of encouragement in a person's pocket when they require it the most that saves them from another dire consequence.

Thereafter I began to tune into the ‪50 radio‬, listening to the Public Safety channel that I kept in rotation on all the states, especially for Tulsa, Creek, Osage, Rogers and Washington Counties. Simultaneously, looking out for the ‪Law Enforcement‬ as I pondered a way to be of some service to them. When I get the idea to be a first-responder, and bust the bad guys before the law enforcers do through prayer, even jump them into a horror movie scene that will produce a heart-change as this will teach the vigilantes a valuable lesson where their life can be rewritten for positive change while I will also be upholding the Law Enforcement up in prayer. Hence, this page is created in partnering with the U.S. government by prayer and encouragement for Law Enforcement everywhere, and to let people know of their happenings so we as saintly citizens can watch and pray!

Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
